What's happening in Sport?

It has been a busy term already in sport, which was kicked off with cross-country training and then the house competition. The house competition was terrific with all students wearing their house colours and competing to the best of their ability. It was a see-sawing affair which came right down to the last race. However at the end of the day it was Kambara who prevailed to win the trophy for the house cross-country competition. The district cross-country has been selected from the trials and we would like to congratulate all the students who were selected to represent the school at the district competition on Thursday (6.05.2010).

 

Interschool sport starts this Friday (7.05.2010) and we would like to wish all teams the best of luck. The students have trained hard and I know they are looking forward to their first game. The venues for winter interschool sport are as follows:

 

Netball – At school

Soccer – At school on the oval

Football – At Le Page Park
